About Me — Nadia Davidson
Artist, writer, dreamer… Molten imaginings
My name is Nadia Davidson or, better known around the internet as Molten Imaginings. This name came about because I could not settle into an artistic niche which I liked best and stick with it. I love to try all sorts of artistic mediums and forms of expression.
Primarily, I try to focus on my encaustic wax painting, which is a lesser known form of art (sometimes styled as a craft) which has a fond place in my heart ever since I learned about it at school when I was 14, sitting in a sunny classroom on a ‘fun day’ taster session, with a handful of other students, listening to a Dido CD, whilst everyone was outside practicing unicycle riding or archery.
I also hold an honours degree in Fine Art.
Does this make me an artist?
When I was very young, all I wanted to do was to live in a tiny cottage in the country and paint pictures for a living. I am not quite there yet.
All through my studies, I wanted to be making comics or designing cool character art instead of making installations, which was the main focus of the school I attended. I found it hard to keep to one thing. I have a grasshopper mind.
Recently, I have started a YouTube channel where I have free reign to mess about with any form of art I like…
