I think I am a lot of things in one person
It’s kinda hard to summarize my story, but let’s see…
At The Very Beginning…
I am a Nigerian, specifically from the South Eastern region. My hometown is Nkwerre in Imo State. I belong to a major tribe called the ‘Igbos’. I am from a family of six and plus my parents; that’s eight. Everyone in my home has a science background. However, we all share the art of writing but do it in various styles. My parents are entrepreneurs and I have taken a bit of that from them too.
I am a trained physician and went to medical school in Nigeria. I migrated 2 years ago to North America and have temporarily stopped seeing patients. I still get calls from old and new patients who insist on seeing me in a make-shift clinic.
I first noticed Medium on social media. I noticed the font and formatting of their articles. It felt user-friendly.
How Did I Become Actively Engaged With Medium?
I have always been an avid writer but not a paid avid writer. In March 2020, I started writing much more. Why? The shutdown was upon us. I needed to stay engaged. I started off on vocal media. One day as I shared my article on Whatsapp, a friend advised me to try…
