Call me Ishmael. No, on second thought, just call me Patrick, but no ‘Pat,’ please, or my mom will freak out.

I’ve taken 41 trips around the sun so far, and I live in Fort Worth, Texas. I’ve been writing off an on most of my life. Although I usually write in private journals, I have, on occasion, written publicly. I even self-published a book of poetry and I’m wroking on a second book of writings. From LiveJournal, Blogger, WordPress, my personal website, and now Medium, I’ve always wanted to use my stories to help people. From what I’ve read, that seems to be what everyone else wants to do too, so horary for being the same. ONE OF US! ONE OF US!

My Medium account dates back to 2015, but I didn’t start writing until late February 2023. After using Mastodon for a few months, I began to notice that more people wanted to read my writing, and I wanted a method to interact with my readers other than on one social network, so I joined Medium, moved some of my stories over, and here I am!
