About Me — Philip Charter
Author & writing coach | podcast host | crisp enthusiast
I’m 1.95m tall, I write books and I can fly.
(One of these statements may be false)
Allow myself to introduce… myself.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰𝘀:
I’m Phil, a writer and coach from the UK. I live in Las Palmas, Spain. And yes, I really am 1.95m tall (6'5"), but no, I don’t play basketball.
𝗠𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲:
I’m a deep thinker who likes philosophical conversations, sunny weather and crisps. At least once a day, I go for a long walk and also enjoy swimming in the ocean (because I got banned from the municipal swimming pool). On weekends, I visit the mountains to get out of the city. Having said that, sometimes there’s nothing better than staying in with a good book. My all time favourite is Invisible Cities by Italo Calvino.
If I were an animal, I’d definitely be a cat (but one who can read and possibly fly).
𝗠𝘆 𝗵𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:
I’ve played the guitar for twenty years and used to be in a band in London. One dish I can cook to perfection is red lentil dal (but I mostly like eating crisps). Also, as I’m a quiz master at a local bar, I’m great at remembering useless facts.
