Hello, I’m Phoenix! I also go by the nickname of Nix, which is why my username (at the time of writing, at least) is NebulaNix.

I’m trying to make writing — whether it’s fiction, nonfiction, or poetry — my career. Ideally, writing articles here on Medium will help me achieve that goal, or at least get closer to it.

Currently, I write on Medium about whatever interests me at the moment. Some of these interests include:

Here are some facts about me, in no particular order.

• I’m Canadian
• My family is Acadian French, so French is my second language
• I also speak a little bit of Brazilian Portuguese, and I’m attempting to learn Russian
• My family has some Mi’kmaq ancestry which I’m trying to respectfully learn…
