Hey there! I’m Prasad Babu Galla ( Bob Cliffhanger — Pen Name) . Born in January in Visakhapatnam — the city of destiny, India.
An Introvert
Let me share a bit about me—I’m an introvert who’s always wondered why talking to girls feels like climbing Mount Everest. Being calm is my default setting, and I’ve always been selective about whom I speak to – mostly those I’m really close to.
My School Days
My childhood was a mix of family, fun, and a dash of mischief. School days were filled with laughter, learning, and the early sparks of my love for books. I also immersed myself in playful activities. WWE card games, cricket card games, pen games, and even bouts of book cricket filled those carefree school days with joy.
My College Days
As I joined the College, I found new pals in the world of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, where science and technology became my part of life. Going to movies and occasionally bunking classes with these new pals added an extra layer of excitement to my college days, along with the thrill of thriller movies during my downtime.
My Monkey Mind
After graduation — I’m confused without any goals or aims due to a lack of consistency. You know, my mind has this knack for jumping around like a monkey on a tree. I can’t seem to stay consistent in one job or business. I hopped from one venture to another, and well, let’s just say some ventures didn’t quite pan out. Failed attempts and learning curves followed.
Love For Writing
Everything has changed in my life but there’s one thing that remained constant – my love for writing. It’s like a magnetic force pulling me in, a passion I couldn’t ignore. Juggling a professional electrical engineering job, I found solace in crafting stories.
My Writing Journey
I’ve penned four books:
"He Was Murdered," “She Killed Him”, the first and the second of a murder trilogy, "Ten Little Dead Bodies," “The Promise We lost” — the start of the Alex Brown Series and the prequel to Alex Brown Series. Each book is a small piece of my storytelling journey.
Fast forward to my recent thriller adventures. I recently published a love thriller, "THE PROMISE WE LOST," a short prequel to "TEN LITTLE DEAD BODIES" on Gumroad and Ko-fi. I’m working on my upcoming thriller (The Hidden Truth — The final installment of Murder Trilogy). Now Writing has become the key of my brain in the storm of inconsistency, weaving a narrative that feels like home.
My Awards
I’ve received a couple of awards: the Empowering Change maker Award and the TEM Ratna Award. These recognitions fuel my drive to make a positive impact.
My Language Journey
My mother tongue is Telugu, and I’m fluent in multiple languages— English, Hindi, and Tamil. I’m currently learning Spanish and Korean to add to my linguistic skills.
Secret — Don’t Tell anyone
Now, let me share a secret. Financial stability? Well, that’s a work in progress. The hope is high that 2024 will be the year I achieve that elusive financial freedom, unlocking a new chapter in my simple story.
Oh, and did I mention?
I’m married and blessed with a son who’s around 4 years old. Juggling family life, a career, and my writing passion, every day is a new adventure.
