Do you get what that means? Does it resonate with you? I watched that movie years ago, and I’m not even sure why that line feels so familiar to me.
I’m not here to talk about that, though. But I do feel like what I’ve done up until today just kind of flows like it’s all given by the Almighty.
Let me explain why.
I’m a husband, but I didn’t know who my future wife would be. I’m a father, but I had no idea who my kids would be. I’m a teacher, but I didn’t know where I’d teach, what I’d teach, or who I’d be teaching.
Isn’t life just like that?
We don’t get to choose where we’re born, who our parents are, or whether we’re male or female. Up until now, I believe life is the greatest gift we could ever receive.
Life doesn’t give us choices about how it starts, but we’re given the power to decide how we live it. If I’m a husband, I can choose to be a terrible one or a good one. As a father, I can be a caring dad or one who yells and hits his kids. As a teacher, I can choose to be annoying or…
