Hey Fams! (oops I shouldn't say that)

My name is Rainna (pronounce: Rey-na); I honestly don’t have any exciting things to share, but I want to introduce myself as a new writer on Medium. I started on Medium as a writer in February 2021, which I kind of regret for going all-in without reading other people’s works. Shame on me, eh?

I am from the Philippines, and I moved to Canada eight years ago. I am an introverted person. I am currently studying Medical Laboratory Technician, and I am working as a part-time cashier at a fast-food restaurant.

I don’t have any kids yet, but I have a fantastic family supporting each other! I am the youngest in my family, the only beautiful girl in the house besides my mom, grandma, and cat. I am the loudest in the house too! When I’m talking to our cat, the baby voice I made is what my two older brothers found irritating.

I have a lovely cat; she was three years old when I met her, and she didn’t like me for years until we moved to a new house and I guess she needed a friend, so we became besties. There’s something weird about me; I am allergic to cats…
