My first journey into the uncomfortable feelings of being truly neurodivergent with my writing for the world to see. I am learning to embrace the discomfort of unmasking, and the exhilaration of being real.

The hiss began in childhood — that phantom frequency humming between expectation and expression, between the amplitude of what I felt and the carefully modulated volume the world demanded. Like eight-year-old Elaine Morrison learning to calibrate her natural resonance to institutional standards, I discovered early on that my authentic frequency was perceived as a disruption rather than a form of communication.

My writing exists in the liminal space where sensory experience becomes narrative architecture. Each sentence carries its harmonic signature — consonance woven through dissonance, creating standing waves that reverberate long after the final period. I want readers to feel the rust-colored vibration of memory against their teeth, to hear the subsonic pulse of unspoken truths, to detect the micro-frequency hiss of systems designed to modulate human expression.
