I teach young people to read, write, and make sense of the world, I side hustle for social good the rest of the time.
I am blessed… I have everything I need, I do not want for anything…
As a Teachprenuer, I work with students to read, write, and make sense of the world, as well as help people, help themselves. My actual journey includes far more than reading and writing. My passion is asking questions, both big and small, fulfilling my hunger for learning new things and creating opportunities for myself and others. In short, I exist to invest my time and resources to promote learning and engagement, for myself, my family, and my community at large.
It is through my walk in life, at my home, in the classroom, and on the streets of Philadelphia, that I launched my initial discovery of myself and quest to change the world.
I was born in 1964, in Patterson, New Jersey, raised in a single-parent home, with my mother and 3 siblings, in Philly, the city of brotherly love and sisterly affection. As a teen, I was a newspaper carrier for the Philadelphia Bulletin, and out of necessity and providence, I always had a side hustle.
