The one who broke the chain

Fun fact: I left my 9-to-5 job to start my own business. Now I work 24/7 😅

Running a business was never in my wildest dream ever. I was brought up in a “study hard, work harder” environment and I am the one who broke the chain.

Let’s go back into history 🤪

*cue tape rewind sound effect*

I remember not knowing where to go after completing Secondary School. There were only 2 paths — Junior College or Polytechnic.

I chose Junior College because I didn’t want my subjects to differ much — you know.. English, Maths, Science, etc. What I didn’t realise, the first year took a toll on me and before I knew it, I flung all my subjects and dropped out of college.

Took a year break thinking about what to do and then decided to just enrol in any Polytechnic course. So I got into the “Information Communication and Technology (ICT)” course which I know nuts of!

Survived 3 years. Surprisingly I fell in love with the course and it led me to work in the IT industry for 7 years. Climbed the corporate ladder and one fine day…
