About Me — Richard Harding
I have arrived at where I am in life as a result of my own decisions
Who am I?
So, where to begin? Well hello, I guess. My name is Richard and have been around here for nearly a year now and feel it is about time I make a proper introduction.
I’m born and bred in England and still living there to this day. I live with my lovely wife Mary, about 15 miles from Cambridge and 50 miles from London. Two great cities to visit, if you ever have the chance.
My upbringing
My parents raised me, to be honest, caring, and hard working. They grew up in a time of scarcity and instilled a lot of that in me. I have, however, managed to break out of that and run up my credit cards, just like many of us. Oh well, different times!
My father was a sportsman which rubbed off on me big time. I spent many years playing badminton to a high level. This involved serious training but allowed me to travel the country playing tournaments and representing my county.
Through all this and continuing to this day, I enjoy a game of golf, every now and then.
I also like to watch sports, particularly football (soccer to my American friends) and golf. If I can get the chance to experience it live…
