As you are read my story, I want to appreciate all of you for helping me overcome to my fears .

You might ask , what fears ?

Well, since March 23, 2009 I have been struggling with my problems. Day after day these problems became harder to solve. Honestly, let’s not overstate it — growing teeth wasn’t a big issue. Nowadays I’m struggling with feelings of shame. Actually, I’m not a shy a person and I have always enjoyed being a part of Society. but The issue is that I’m scared of writing in a big platform. Few months ago I decided to throw all my fears and now you can see the conclusion of this decision this is my first essay in Medium.

why Medium?

The answer is easy. I’m not Leo Tolstoy who could publish his first book in the age of 24. Translating the contents of my mind onto the page unfiltered is satisfying. Also, being able to read the the criticism directly is the best way to improve. Sometimes, it is valuable to see a reflection of yourself through the perspective of others.

Furthermore, there is a wide range of topics in Medium.

The more I write, the more I understand myself. Writing gives me a deep sense of fulfillment; it serves as a bridge between the world within my mind and the reality around me.

Who Am I?

Enough about life’s problems; let me introduce myself. My name is Roozbeh. I’m an Experimental Sciences student who is a law enthusiast.

It might be weird that I’m study Experimental Sciences while also being passionate about law. furthermore, I’m interested in politics too.

Well, I think that this enthusiasm has deep roots in my family. I was born and raised in a family where many of them are lawyer and The roots of law run deep in my heart. I have gone to many courtrooms with my father since I was a child. So why Experimental Sciences?

It might seem weird, but It wasn’t my choice. I was somehow forced to study Experimental Sciences in high school. Let me tell you when, why, and how that happened.

Experimental Sciences

After finishing middle school, I was torn between choosing Experimental Sciences or Humanities (law). only two months remained before the final decision. It was a race against the clock, and I was under pressure to decide quickly. I’m not saying I never thought about it — I did, Actually, many times. but the problem was that, on one hand, I didn’t have the enthusiasm I have now, and on the other hand, all my friends chose Experimental Sciences, and my parents somehow forced me to choose it too. How?

Pretty easily: they told me, “you should study Experimental Sciences, and we won’t let you study humanities.” Actually this one and half lines was the result of a three-months-long argument between me and my parents.

Arguing with a lawyer wasn’t easy — especially when the judge was your mother. Even the strongest facts wouldn’t change their minds. One day, I thought I had nailed the argument, but then I realized the only thing I truly nailed was my own brain.

Arguing with them feels like talking to a wall; the only result is that my tongue grows tired.

Fortunately, they finally noticed that I was interested in law and they told me “you can study what ever you want in university.” I’m still wondering how this happened — maybe aliens replaced them, Or exchanged them. Even if we have our worst arguments, I still love them with all my heart. Maybe all of this was a little bit exaggerated just to reach 800 words. I really don’t know that have I reached to that number or not.

I hope you have enjoyed so far taking the time to read a small part my life. This story comes from a real place in my heart, and I’m grateful to have shared it with the right people.
