Accepting the ‘artist’ and ‘film director’ labels took me many years, yet, here I am now calling myself a (Medium) writer.
I really do struggle at talking about myself, but I believe I’m much better when it comes to writing about myself.
That’s just my opinion, don’t take it as fact. You can let me know how I did in the comments.

My journey
I’m an Aussie, born in Melbourne, Australia to Maltese parents who taught me to speak Maltese from a young age. Although I only speak the language in Malta, I’m super grateful they passed that part of my heritage on.
Writing has always got me through the hard and confusing times regarding ‘my story’ and what my life’s purpose is, as did art, including painting and drawing.
As an adult in my forties, I have found that slowing down, daily meditation, routine, dropping self-placed labels and talking things over with my husband (and sometimes a therapist) helps me on my self-healing journey.
