About Me — Sawyer Kuhl
I guess it’s time to tell my story.
A short version of my life story- I was born, had a good childhood, and went to college. I came back to work in the family business. I got married and we had two kids. The family business dissolved and now here I am, trying to write on the internet.
A longer version of my story- I was born in the seventies in a small-town American suburb. I was lucky. My parents loved me (they still do.) And even though we were lower middle class, I always had everything I needed.
I had a happy childhood with my brother, who’s two years younger than me. I played and watched a lot of sports even though I was never the best athlete and faced the “normal” issues of growing up in the 1980s and 90s. I have a lot of interesting memories, but no trauma or horror stories.
After I went away to college, I came back home to join the family business, which had its pros and cons. Never what I had wanted to do, it was enjoyable enough work and it paid the bills. I met a lot of interesting people and spent a lot of time with my dad and brother, which was nice. And a temporary solution became a twenty-year job, seemingly overnight.
A family of my own.
Along the way, I met a girl who was different from all the other girls. She’s smart…
