About Me — Scott Priestley

The quote Ancora Imparo is an Italian phrase loosely translated as “And yet, I still learn”. The phrase was discovered in the last pages of one of Michelangelo’s last journals. Even nearing his death, this Master was pursuing knowledge. That’s how I live my life as a life-long learner.

I’ve been a software/business consultant and entrepreneur for more than 20 years.

During that time I’ve worked with some of the largest companies in the world including Toyoda, Microsoft, and Infor. I’ve also consulted with some amazing start-ups and helped solopreneurs define their niches and launch their empires.

My favorite place in the world - Next to Rachel on a beach in Oahu

Along the way, I’ve launched a couple of Technology Consulting companies, designed and sold some fun applications, and developed a personal philosophy that’s guided me along the way.

I write about Side Hustles, Productivity, and Technology, not necessarily in that order. I love writing about my experiences and sharing things I’ve found helpful.

My wife Rachel, and I are temporary transplants to San Antonio from Raleigh, North Carolina. I started my life in Detroit but every Winter I’m glad I headed South! We love to vacation in Oahu and the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina or Virginia.
