Hi, I’m Shaloo Walia from India, an only child who grew up in the golden sands of Rajasthan before returning to my roots in Punjab two decades ago. Some may call it a homecoming; I like to think of it as exchanging sand dunes for mustard fields.

For the past 20 years, I’ve been working in print media. Oh no, I am not a journalist! There’s more to a daily newspaper than journalists. I am into sales & marketing- juggling deadlines, targets, and coffee cups like a seasoned performer.

Words (or rather newspapers) are my bread and butter, but books? They’re my dessert. An avid reader, I’m the kind of person who finds the smell of a bookstore more intoxicating than a fancy perfume.

When I’m not reading a book, you’ll find me creating videos about them on my YouTube channel. Talking about books to an audience who loves books? Pure bliss. Oh, and did I mention I also run a book club? Imagine a gathering of bookworms passionately discussing the merits and demerits of a book – it’s my version of a concert.

But wait, there’s more! I’m also an astrologer and tarot reader, which means I can not only tell you if your time is unfavorable but also help you navigate it. I’m also a Reiki practitioner and an Art of Living teacher, so I can align your chakras and…
