Hello Medium Community!
I was born and raised in the southern state of Virginia (yes, GA, NC, and SC. We are part of the south) and now live here in the beautiful state of Alaska.
During the day, I get to work with fantastic college students, and I get to write at night.
I’m not that great at writing bios about myself, so be gracious to me.
I have always been a book nerd. Even when I couldn’t read, my aunt said I always had a book in my hand. Embarrassing storytime: She said it was the only way to get me to potty train, lol.
As a little girl, I would write stories and read them to whoever would listen. The older I got I kept my writing to myself. The only person who saw my writing in my later years was my aunt.
This year, I decided to take the chance and share it with other people. So I started here on Medium, and I’m slowly allowing my family and friends to read my writing.
I write mainly fiction. I love building worlds, and I have so many ideas that I want to get out of my head and onto paper/computer.
