Almost 3 decades in, and still figuring it out! I’ve learned one thing: Your inner world drives your outer world.

What’s most important for me? Love, empathy, respect, and excitement! Sure, countless things hold value, but for me, especially at this point in my life, independence, freedom, and a constant journey of spiritual growth and mindfulness are non-negotiable.

So, Who Am I?

I play it cool when I get emotional in theatres. I can’t stand the thought of someone settling for something that brings them down in the name of love.

I’m all about doing things my way; no apologies. If something doesn’t match what I believe in or where I’m headed, you bet I will speak up.

In a world that forces you to follow templates to live every day, I like to discover my own ways that make me happy, satisfied and whole. Sometimes, I pour my heart & experiences here: https://www.instagram.com/thewordwired/

Well, I’m incredibly grateful for this gift of life and look forward to making every moment count.

I’m a firm believer in chasing the good vibes and spreading a little sunshine wherever I go.

Let’s Rewind a Little

Remember that excitement in English class, getting lost in poems and grammar? That was totally me! I always dreamed of weaving words into stories and confidently speaking like a pro.

Even now, while a part of me happily gets lost in writing (that’s where my heart truly lives), another part desperately craves the feel of a brush in my hand. Painting is my happy place!

There’s just something about exploring new things, you know? Maybe someday I’ll master the guitar and finally swim like a mermaid!

Take Chances, Take that Plunge

I did my bachelor’s in design to realize that Fashion design wasn’t something I wanted to do (though flipping through magazines like Vogue was a secret obsession — there’s something about those pictures and stories, right?).

College was a fun adventure. While everyone else mastered sewing patterns, I found myself drawn to writing and art and even tried pottery (it turns out sculpting isn’t quite my forte!).

The funniest part of it all was when my HOD in college secretly allowed me to pursue my passion. Maybe the universe was giving me hints about what I truly loved.

Call me a 24-year-old trapped in a 29-year-old’s body — full of dreams, tons of experience, and an endless quest to figure it out all.

I’m Who I’m Because Of My Experiences

Growing up in India, I wasn’t exactly handed a rulebook for defying stereotypes. The whole “get married, have kids, that’s all life’s about” thing? Not exactly my dream.

This blog is my way of saying, “Hey, there’s another way!”

Finding my path wasn’t a straight shot. There were wrong turns, dead ends, and plenty of trial and error. But somewhere along the way, it hit me that true happiness lies in pursuing what gives you joy, what sets your soul on fire, where you can express your way of life freely, where you are heard and acknowledged.

Lifting weights, learning about nutrition, and perfecting the art of clean eating are some things I wish I had done sooner.

Life’s given me some smiles and scars, and I have no complaints. They’re proof I lived life on my own terms, right? (“Do it now or regret it later") drives me to take chances.

Living for the ‘I did it’ moments

Life for me is about taking it to the next level, having quality moments with my loved ones, constantly growing and learning, and experiencing those moments that make me go, “Whoa, did that just happen?”

Still reading? High five to that!

What excites me the most? The idea of enjoying the whiff of strong coffee brewing under those cute hanging lights in Vietnam or even cuddling with a pack of fluffy huskies who are way more pumped up about the snow than I am. Whether it’s finding your inner peace in the quiet beauty of the Himalayas, getting lost in the explosion of colours in Jaipur, or satisfying your inner foodie with the irresistible street food of Lucknow, that’s the kind of travel adventure I live for!

For me, it’s not just about the cool Instagram-worthy moments (although, let’s be real, those are pretty awesome, too!).

I want to dive deep into different cultures and learn all their extraordinary stories (like, did you know they celebrate Christmas with elves in Denmark?).

Here’s to the good, the bad, and the hilarious!

Life isn’t always picture-perfect, and sometimes, the best stories come from embracing the chaos. Am I right?

Join me on a journey where I’ll share all the wild rides, the bad dates, and the incredible friendships I’ve built along the way (including some that, for whatever reason, didn’t quite last) and even those relatives whose advice comes with the best intentions but maybe not the best results.

I’m excited to make this platform my safe space to share my ongoing journey of self-discovery.

Who knows, we can learn from each other’s experiences along the way and meet someday, too!

So, please grab a cup of coffee (or tea, no judgment!), get comfy and let’s have fun.

Welcome to my world!

That’s me, Rashi, a wordsmith, a wanderer at hear and a writer turned artist after clocking out my 10 to 6 corporate hussle.
