About Me Story
Quitting is not in the blood, Sir.
I am 25 years 25-year-old, software engineer, living in Kolkata, Bharat (India); I know, not a unique job. But from architecting an elegant and unique solution or fixing bugs in code, it feels good to turn chaos into clarity. I am all about living in the moment. Yes, that is me.
But wait there is more.
I am a football enthusiast, derive joy from narrow streets to big grounds, where the victory is measured in laughter and scraped knees. Beyond this my friends also know me as a karaoke enthusiast, whether singing in the bathroom or serenading a restaurant lounge; they have been there with me through it all.
But let's not mistake this for a job interview resume, similar to everyone it is more than what meets the eye.
I am a traveller (not a tourist), I collect stories of life, stories of adventure.
I find that the tale of others is filled with richness; sometimes it is not just a story it is the lifestyle explained in their own simple words. So, simply sharing & collecting stories, that’s what I do as a storyteller.
I travelled as solo traveller, travelled with friends, and also travelled as a tourist with family. But my favourite one is the solo travelling.
Solo travelling doesn’t make you an individual who is travelling alone, but it makes you to travel with people that you haven’t known till now.
It is an opportunity for me to know about those who are travelling with me. From the adventurousness of trekking to dancing on new moves learning from them is totally worth the journey of every penny.
A traveller is someone who could adjust on a shoestring budget, whose only moto is to reach a destination whether it is by walking, hitchhiking, or utilising a budget-friendly shared bus or taxi. Luxury is not a part of this journey.
I covered 15 captivating destinations in the past 2 years. In the articles, I will try to explain my experiences, what I could do in a better way, and the culture and lifestyles of the people.
I will provide the itinerary to cover most of the places to get the necessary things for a comfortable journey, from providing tips to planning trips, from a cultural perspective to adventurous activities, from the mountains to serene forests, from shivering dark streets to the bustling city. I will try to guide readers to get an impression so that they can relate and be prepared for their own adventure.
There are so many stories to share, but mostly that is a brief about my own passion. I will see you around in the medium world.
Here are some points I will try to cover in the articles:
Place’s history and culture, what I have experienced.
Things to I did.
Storytelling about my own trip.
Things I could do in a better way.
Things to carry for a comfortable journey.
If I want to go next month what could be my plan?
Explaining information related to travel.
Believe me, it will be worth the journey.
