So where do I begin?
A lot of thoughts are running through my mind as I try to introduce myself. But the best place to start is probably by giving this a shot. I’m Suraj, a late-20s IT professional from Pune, India, with a deep love for reading, especially short articles and blogs. That’s how I discovered Medium — a place where people like me can share their ideas and connect with others who think alike. It feels like the right platform to finally gather the courage to express my thoughts openly.
A Cinephile’s Escape
When I was first drafting this introduction, I couldn’t quite pull my thoughts together. So, naturally, I did what any cinephile would — I watched an episode of Suits on Netflix. For me, cinema has always been a comforting escape from the hustle of life. I make plans around movies, immerse myself in their stories, and savor the experience. Movies are my passion, and if that qualifies me as a cinephile, I’m happy to wear the label proudly.
