Who Am I?

I live in Poughkeepsie, New York.
As if that’s not funny enough all by itself — I grew up in Amish country, surrounded by coal yards, horses and buggies, and guys wearing suspenders to keep their pants up.
I am the original Kimmie Schmidt. My sister is Tara Westover.
I’m a sextogenarian, cancer surviving mom, grandmother, lifelong learner, reading nearly 200 books a year, writer, editor, poet, humorist, sailor, chef, entrepreneur, and outlier on any chart you want to put me on. I defy simple categorization. But you can try.
