About Me — Susan McCord
I am a mature woman with a young sassy attitude who has been there done that and has so many T-shirts I could literally open a store. Life experience is the best education out there!
I am a Canadian girl born and raised in beautiful Vancouver, BC. My family home life was definitely unique and constantly challenging. If I can be diplomatically honest, it was pretty weird!
As the second oldest of 5 children and a female, I was given the task of playing housekeeper and cook from ages 10–17 on a daily basis. Not the role I would have chosen that’s for sure!
My eccentric brainiac scientist father was always inventing something and involved all of us kids in many of his schemes. He had us bottling beer in the basement, set us up in his workshop sticking labels on 1000’s of mail-out pamphlets for his electronics business, and involved us in his innovative projects and experiments. (This could be a lot of fun!)
I went to England for 6 weeks with a friend at age 15 after saving up babysitting & waitress money for a few years. I came back from that trip as a new woman! I moved out at 17 to escape my duties and to have some privacy and freedom.
