You learn the most about yourself when you are uncomfortable.
A few years ago, I decided to live vicariously through myself.
What does that mean?
It meant that instead of waiting for opportunities, I try to make them happen and help others achieve them as well.
Instead of living through someone else’s adventures, I decided to live through my own.
It meant making myself uncomfortable so that I can reach my life’s full potential.
Being uncomfortable is an awkward feeling, but that is the best way to grow, and it is humbling.
I have been writing on Medium since October 2017. I have been writing sporadically. A lot more lately, to make up for the lost time.
The challenging part about writing is convincing yourself that you are a writer. Convincing yourself that your words can help others. Having that self-belief.
It wasn’t until this year that I “realized” I am a writer. And I will write no matter what.
