About Me — Toni Louie Archibald
A misfit Gen Z on a journey back to human. Real connections. Real stories. Real friends. Real people. You, dear reader, are more valuable to me than money.
Hi, nice to meet you :)
I am Toni Louie Archibald, a misfit Gen Z in modern society. I live in an urban city in India and travel as often as I can.
So, why am I a misfit you might ask?
Modern society globally is based on the hustle culture, earning lots of money, sleeping very few hours, night after night of partying and networking and meaningless hookups & relationships. Personally, I find this lifestyle to be fake. I think everyone is faking enjoying this lifestyle and that’s why todays rates of depression and mental health plummeting downhill, especially in the younger people.
What kind of things do I value?
I value real connections. Real relationships. Real affection. A work life balance. More time being present doing what you’re doing, even in mundane tasks, and truly experiencing life. I feel time goes really fast and if you don’t stop and slow it down by being in and enjoying the present, Poof, next thing you know you are 60, 70 years old thinking — where has my time gone?
