About Me — Tosin Ezekiel
The Journey of a Mathematician, Writer, and Aspiring Software Engineer
I don’t get asked “Can you tell us about yourself?” often, and maybe that’s because I haven’t been in many interviews. Today, though, is a special day — the 15th of September — so here’s a bit about me.
Born in Lagos — omo Osun, Yoruba gidi ni mi (I’m from Osun State a typical Yoruba man), I’m the second son of divorced parents. My childhood was full of fun😊, bouncing between “igboro” (street) and “ajebo” (wealthy) life😎, which made survival easier later on. I wasn’t bookish but always managed to get by, thanks to my dad’s push. High school was another story — I was average most of the way, but in the finals, something clicked, and I graduated strong.
My first love? A girl who fetched water at our place. I admired her from behind the glass, though we never spoke. Fast forward to a couple of heartbreaks later, I’ve found someone special. She’s everything I dreamed of — smart, thoughtful, and kind. We’ve been together for almost a year, and I aim for forever💕.
Currently, I’m in my second year studying Mathematics at Lagos State University, and my love for writing blossomed during my time with . After completing the Software Engineering program, I felt the urge to help others. My first article was about creating a virtual environment to simplify workflows.
Now, I focus on programming, breaking down complex tech concepts, and promoting good practices.
Feel free to check out my work, send me a DM, and connect! Watch out for more from me. Thanks for reading!
