About Me — Tyler, or Moshe
Freelance writer from Wyoming
Shalom!
I’m an emerging Jewish freelance writer from Wyoming!
I studied English at my local community college and spent two semesters as a member of my school’s now defunct literary and arts magazine. I took a job in grocery retail to help pay the bills and eventually left school. The stress of working full-time through a global pandemic became too much, and I had to prioritize my job for survival.
Now, I’m prioritizing myself by utilizing my combined experience to launch my writing career!
I know that most employers are looking for writers with at least a BA, but I’m not letting that fact keep me from achieving a decade-old dream. I might not be the writer that everyone’s looking for, but I have a unique set of life experiences and am dedicated to expanding my knowledge and skills as a writer.
The only thing stopping me from becoming a writer is trying. If I don’t create a portfolio, if I don’t put myself in front of an audience, if I never sign up for platforms or cold pitch clients I want to work for, I’ll never build a career doing what I love.
