I thought I’d gotten this over with, and my God, ‘good riddance’ had never felt so good…
But here we are. Again! ☹
How do you find things to say about yourself? About the mundane reality that is your life?
I did this before; it was alright. Got me, I think, a thousand-five claps, my highest up till now. Unfortunately, I had to take that post down. It simply revealed too much, I later came to find.
These days, I like to reserve some parts of myself. I usually get too lost in my writing— it’s become my life.
That realization came when I was asked at a conference to list five fun things about myself, and I had only one:
I was a writer.
Sad life, people have complained.
I guess that’s an introduction... Somewhat.
My writing is different. It’s too authentic. I’ve made quite a number of enemies.
People call me ‘Angel’. Honestly? It’s such a strange name to be called. When I decided to go by that name, I was vulnerable and lost. I needed something around me, about me, that felt pure. That felt good.
