About Me — Urna
I’m Urna — 28 years old, a digital marketer by profession for almost a decade now (yes, 9 years and 11 months 28 days, to be precise!). But beyond that title, I wear many hats, most of which are coloured by creativity, curiosity, and compassion.
While marketing pays the bills, crafting heals my soul. My love for gardening, DIY projects, and all things handmade runs deep. During my college years, I even ran a one-woman pop-up stall for three years, creating and selling little handmade pieces. It wasn’t a grand business. But it was mine. And it was pure joy.
Crafting, to me, is not a hobby. It’s therapy. It’s how I make sense of the world when it feels too noisy.
Before I became a marketer, I was — and still am — a reader. An English Literature student who chose the course out of pure love for reading. I’ve always been drawn to words — how they build worlds, hide emotions, or heal quietly.
My bookshelf is an eclectic mess of historical fiction, edge-of-the-seat thrillers, and biographies that read like whispered secrets. Sometimes, I even find myself lost in pages about the oddest things — like philately. It’s strange what catches your mind and stays there.
