About Me — Varshini
A passionate storyteller with a thrist for intellectual stimuli
Grades don’t matter.
But grades don’t always matter.
Hey, I’m Varshini. I’m the girl who chased perfection until she met perspective.
For most of my life, I stayed tucked behind books and report cards.
The grades would hold more weight than, “Hey, I’m Varshini from Bangalore, India. I have one younger brother, supportive family and friends for which I am very grateful for.”
A rank-holder.
Olympiad winner.
Teacher’s pet.
The kind of kid who’d get a new book as a birthday gift, not the latest iPhone. My shelves overflowed, my head buzzed with trivia, and my world spun in the orbit of syllabi, study plans, and all things “right.”
I guess I was crafting a cocoon — quietly, thoroughly — until the outside world cracked it open.
“Oh dear diary, I met a boy who made my doll-heart light up with joy.”
The kind of muse who doesn’t just inspire poems, but opens portals. He introduced me to the thrill of healthy competition, to news, to ambition not born from fear but fire. He became the lens through which I discovered new passions and purpose.
But like the best muses, he didn’t stay forever.
And like the best awakenings, he didn’t have to.
