About Me — Vivek Naskar
After writing for four years on Medium, I finally decided to write this.
I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember — always with a pen on paper, of course.
Being an introvert has its perks: you get to have deep conversations with yourself and document your thoughts in a journal. I had friends, but I always chose to share my feelings in my journals, free from judgment. Writing became a therapeutic outlet for me.
Decent-ish at Studies
I’ve always been a studious kid, doing reasonably well in my studies. My routine was simple: study hard in school and play football and cricket with the kids in my neighbourhood every single day.
In fact, I was so focused on academics that I watched my first movie in a theatre only in 11th grade. It wasn’t because my parents restricted me or anything — I just wasn’t interested.
But that first movie changed everything. My 16-year-old self suddenly realized there’s more to life than just studies and sports.
Self discovery in College
I got my hands on my first computer around 9th grade. It was a second-hand, old white-monitor HP computer — remember those? I was fascinated by it and started playing games on it.
