This is actually my first time writing a biography online. I don’t usually talk much about myself, even on social media. Sure, I have accounts on Facebook, Instagram, and the usual platforms, but it’s mainly just scrolling through them without ever really sharing any personal insight of it. It’s not that I don’t enjoy seeing what others post—it’s just that I’ve never been comfortable putting myself out there like that.

So, writing a biography? Definitely a new experience for me!

Who am I?

So, to start with, my name is Wilbet. People always found it hard to pronounce my name correctly and most of the time misspelled it.

I’m from Malaysia, a small but beautiful country in Southeast Asia. Growing up in a rural area, life was a bit more simple, a little slower, and definitely more challenging.

My family didn’t have much when I was younger, but we always had the important things:

• resilience
• strong work ethic

Those values have stuck with me throughout my life, and they’ve shaped who I am today
