Did Your Mom Ever Beat You?
Recalling memories with mom
Growing Up With My Mom
I was born in 2002, and I’m the second child of my parents. Now, if you’re wondering whether I am the most loved child in the family, let me tell you that you’re not completely wrong.
My elder sister, of course, had faced a lot, and I really admit this. I don’t like to lie; if I do, my mom will definitely be in another mood, which my sister and I always have to deal with.
When we’re living close to our family, like under the same roof, we have many arguments, right?
But when we leave our homes for a job or even for studies that’s when we truly start remembering many things we once found annoying.
Now, we love everything —
We begin to love mom-made dishes
We feel her absence
We start to care about her more intentionally
We revise how we were when she was with us and how we are now
Everything was spoon-fed back then, but now we have to handle everything ourselves.
Time changes, and we don’t realize it until later. But honestly, that wasn’t an age where we were supposed to understand all of this.
