About Me — Alina
how I ended up here (and why you might want to stick around)
I’m not here to inspire you
not to heal your inner child
not to promise breakthroughs in 3 sessions
I’m here to say things that might sting a little — but make sense a lot
I’m a psychologist in progress
Ukrainian, 30 y.o., refugee from a full-scale war
currently studying psychology at a Spanish university, second degree
first one? law
6 years of legal education, a European diploma, 4 years in a firm, great CV, great English, great burnout
and then I quit
no spiritual awakening, no breakdown
just this very clear, very rational feeling:
I’m in the wrong place
I have other skills, I think differently, I care about other things
I was lucky — I had support
from my dear husband who said: “then leave”
and so I left
at 27 I went back to zero — courses, textbooks, articles, podcasts
at first, like many, I got sucked into the vortex of pop-psych
