How I spend Sundays with my kids.
The Perfect Sunday Blend
I have a major issue where, on days off from work, I wake up at 6 AM, but on workdays, I just can’t get up without relying on my phone’s alarm. This problem isn’t new for me; it’s been this way since childhood. Back in school, I would struggle to wake up on school days, but on holidays, I’d be up early in the morning.
Interestingly, I’ve noticed the same pattern in my kids. They also wake up early on Sundays, just like me, and my son immediately says, “Take out the bike, let’s go get some bread.”
There’s a special joy in buying my favorite bread from my favorite shop on Sunday mornings and enjoying it relaxed. I usually don’t have this luxury during weekdays since I always rush for work. While having breakfast, I always watch a random episode of my favorite TV series, Friends. Watching Friends during breakfast is great because it never gets boring.
The best part of my Sunday is breakfast time, and after that, I take care of my kids, and play with them, while my wife takes some time to do a bit of cleaning and organizing. After spending some time playing with my kids, we often decide to do something fun together as a family. My son loves going out for a short bike ride around the neighborhood, and my daughter, though still very young, enjoys tagging along in her stroller. The fresh air…
