Welcome to About Me Stories, we are starting over!
When you arrive on the Medium platform knowing where to start can take a while, but once you do, the biggest dilemma, and I supposed it’s the same for any new social media platform is… how do I get seen?
There’s nothing more disheartening than put time and effort into a piece of writing, finally hit publish and all you get in response is tumble weeds. We’re here to help you change that.
There are two reasons readers will follow you, one is your craft, which you should never stop working on. The other is you. Just you. Your personality, your voice. We’re all looking to connect with people that have something interesting to say, but it needs to be interesting to us.
The writers I follow tend to be women I identify with as well as writing voices of all genders that honestly it feels like a pure pleasure to loose myself in.
Sharing a little about yourself. Letting your readers behind the curtain. That’s how you make those connections that your work can build on, and that’s where About Me comes in.
