I Like It When Someone Compliments Me From the Heart

I am not used to compliments. But when I got one, it felt nice

Usually, people say that girls get more compliments than boys and all that. I don’t know why there’s a need to categorize everything, because categories do have exceptions.

So, let's talk about something that isn't generalised. I am a girl & I don’t get compliments much, and I know lots of females who don’t as well. But I know some guys who get it every single day.

I am in college, and until this age, I received a few compliments about my looks. This year, I met a guy, and whenever we meet, he always says I am beautiful, and joining the gym will reflect it even more.

First of all, I am used to compliments. I haven’t heard people saying stuff like beautiful to me. So when I heard him say that, I became happy. I felt nice. I started to consider his words, but I was still skeptical about why he always says things like that, or is this his nature, to compliment everyone?

I still don’t know why he says that. But it makes me feel nice about myself that, “yeah, I am counted among good-looking people. It's good. I should be more confident than I already am.”
