I Performed My First Ever Stand-Up in Dublin

Since I came to Dublin in 2019, I have done a myriad of things other than what I came here to do (IT).

I have worked as a chef in a continental restaurant (Thanks Covid!)I have written and directed a short film, and was even a (tiny) part of an Opera! One which opened in the biggest theatre in Ireland. And even though I was on stage for only 10 seconds at most, the experience of bowing down to a crowd of 2000 people for three nights was something surreal and something which I will carry with me forever.

Moving to Dublin has been a pivot point in my life. I have gotten incredible opportunities to do incredible things with incredible people, and my life is now richer because of those things.

And as much as I have made these things happen, I have also happened, or become, because of them. I owe a great deal to the world around me, because without it, I would not be who I am today.

It is interesting how this duality is etched in the very fabric of this universe, Like how the universe is a space-time continuum, for example. How light is both a particle and a wave. How the DNA is a double helix.
Like how man makes culture and culture makes man. How man makes language and language makes man. Yin and Yang. It seems to me that in this…
