About Me — Leslie Flemons
Hi, everyone!
My name is Leslie Flemons. I’m a graduate at Indiana University Southeast with a bachelor’s degree in communications.
Before deciding to write for Medium, I’ve heard of it when going through Google search results. But I never knew anyone, and I mean anyone could write for this website. I thought that you had to have certain qualifications to write and publish an article here. And the reason why I say this is because most of the articles here seem to have professional formatting and good quality writing.
The reason why I decided to write for Medium is because it seems like it may be a good start to your writing career. I’ve been striving hard to find a writing job, but either none of them appealed to me, none of the companies reached out to me, or they rejected me. But it looks like this site is striving to help anyone in every walk of life to succeed and I’m here for it.
Obviously, there are other places you can publish your work online: Wattpad, Critique Circle, Writing.com, Miss Literati (an underrated website that no longer exists) and so on.
