Introduction to Demme (me)…
With some edits made (July 5, 2026) as time has passed 😏
I‘ve had this account for more than 2 years — but haven‘t written a thing…
[Edit Note: But now I have! In fact I can’t stop writing ✍️!]
Why — did I NOT write for 2 years?
Fear perhaps that my writing isn‘t up to professional standards? Fear that I might not have much to say that others would find “worthy of reading”?
[Edit Note: Perhaps fear that I’ve opened a Pandora’s Box that requires time & focus? Time I have plenty of but “focus?” — I’m still working on that.]
But I’m happy to say that I’ve overcome my own resistance and I hope there are those of you (out there) who will identify with me? Those who are already sharing posts and others still biting their nails (like I was) — afraid to test the waters?
[Edit Note: I’ve overcome the resistance, with the help of some Medium (writer) friends. They understand how difficult (& daunting) it can be to “break through” on any new platform/application.]
We all (writers?) look for support from the community we identify with. Having each others’ backs is part of writing (I believe).
