List of Firsts
Things you may want to know about me!
My family has been filled with firsts lately. My children have started 4-H this year. They joined shooting sports, where they learned how to shoot a rifle safely (and accurately). We have joined the poultry club to learn more about chickens, ducks, and Cody’s barn birds. They both decided to try the violin this year, so that is new too.
I have decided to change a few things in my own life. I started with some new breeds on the farm. We now have Seramas, call ducks, and turkeys. In my freelance career, I have decided to try Vocal and Medium.
Days like today make you realize how life is all about the first days. There are the first days of school, high school, and college. First day of a new job (and the next one too)! Many people experience lots of first dates before going on their very last first date! You get the first day as a wife (or husband). Then, you never forget the first time you see your brand-new baby.
Life is full of special firsts. Here are some of my firsts (so you can know a little more about me).
First day on earth: January 1st, 1982 — I was the first baby born in the York Hospital on January 1st of that year.
