Wait, When Did Millennials Become the “Boomers”?

There’s a quiet panic setting in — you can see it between the lines of Slack messages, in the nervous laughter during TikTok discussions, and in the subtle Googling of “What does ‘rizz’ mean?”

Millennials — the once-disruptive, startup-slaying generation — are now looking over their shoulders and realizing something unsettling:

They’re not the youngest, boldest, or trendiest voices in the room anymore.

That honor goes to Gen Z, their digital-first, values-driven successors. And while millennials are still trying to decode Gen Z’s memes and negotiate hybrid workspaces, an even newer generation — Gen Alpha — is quietly growing up, iPad in hand, ready to make Slack look like MySpace.
