Deep down, I’ve always believed there are subtle signs guiding us along our journey through this life, especially in the darkest times, and it’s often in those times that we cannot hear the proverbial phone ring, even though it may mean the difference between life and death.

When I was at my lowest, a life coach called "TJ Guthormsen" gave me a voice I never knew I had, and the confidence I always sought. A seemingly ordinary lady who goes by the name of Brené Brown, a social psychologist of high astuteness, taught me how to be brave, step courageously into the wild, and make it my own. They took me single-handedly from rough seas to calmer waters, waters where, for the first time in my life, I found peace.

Though as promised, there would come a time when I'd fall, life could not be avoided and just as I was once scared of the wilderness, others became frightened of the wilderness they now saw when they looked in my eyes and heard my roaring voice. I was cast out, and like Jonah, I was on the wrong boat, trying to carry out my purpose with people unwilling to listen.
