My Handwriting Closed A Few Doors Against Me

I cannot believe it took me this long to figure it out

There was this test I was about to write a few months ago that was compulsory; in other words, if I didn’t pass it, my exams alone wouldn’t easily bail me out and I would have to take the course again next year.

I remember how hard I studied for it and how, for the first time in my life, I pulled an all-nighter just to study. The exams came and it was a breeze, in fact it wasn’t worth the hype because of how easy it was. As a matter of fact I could have been just fine without studying.

Soon the results came out and to my greatest surprise, I got a C. Obviously not a fail but still an abysmal performance. It hurt even more because 90% of the class scored nothing less than a B.

Fortunately the professor in charge is a very chill person and doesn’t look down on students. Also, he’s approachable, which is why I was able to visit his office and ask for my papers so he could double check.

After going through hundreds of papers, he eventually found mine and began looking through it. I immediately noticed two things; a small frown crept into his face, and something even worse — he was squinting!

“What did you write here?”
