Procrastination is my middle name
( not really, but it can well be)
A wise man once said, “The early bird gets the worm.” But honestly, I could never subscribe to that philosophy. I’ve always been a last-minute kind of guy . Sometimes, it works out and gives me a little rush, but other times, it backfires, and I end up missing out. For what feels like forever, I’ve wanted to turn things around, to make some positive changes in my life. But figuring out how? That’s the tricky part.
Sure, I could tell you that I did some magical course, watched the perfect video, or read an ebook that changed my life. I could say that now I’m always ahead of schedule and living my best life. But I’d be lying. From what I’ve seen, there’s no guaranteed way to suddenly become super productive. I could preach about consistency, showing up, and giving it your all – but let’s be real, I haven’t exactly mastered that myself.
I had joined medium as a paid member last month and have written only a handful of article since then ( 4 to be exact). Hence I am planning to take a challenge to myself to see how much I can improve myself if I try to be consistent. This challenge is simple, I will write an article a day for the next 365 days. The goal? To see how much I can improve by just being consistent and sticking with it.
To anyone who took the time to read this, I truly appreciate it. The reason I’m putting this challenge – and my embarrassing habit of procrastination – out there for everyone to see is simple: I want to change. I want to be held accountable. No more excuses. Trust me, I could write a whole book on excuses just from my first hand experience.
So here’s to showing up, trying my best, and seeing what happens next.
