The Chair Healer
How can self-development change your life and your relationships?
So after so much time, so many difficulties and so many setbacks, you decide to start psychotherapy. Or therapy, covering the broadest range of the term. Yet you know nothing about it.
So you search for available psychologists. You find one, call him, and, after much effort, arrive at his office. You’re nervous and scared, and you don’t know what to expect from this meeting. Criticism? Condemnation? Which of these things you’ve heard to be true, you wonder?
Time passes and the previous appointment pays and leaves. Here comes your turn. You style your hair, smile, and greet your therapist, walking into the room.
An hour later, you come out relieved and decide to make another appointment, next week or the week after. Welcome to the world of therapy!
And now, you apply what your therapist tells you. And the chair healer becomes the healer of the chair. What does that mean? That the knowledge he has now seems to be known to you. You understand and apply what you are discussing.
