Hey there!
I’m Koko, otherwise known as ‘The’ Koko. Emphasis on ‘The’, because there obviously can’t be two ‘MEs’. One of a kind for a reason you know? I’m not usually one for intros, but I’m feeling pretty generous at the moment so here goes…
How do I start?
I’m a Nutritionist who’s got a sweet tooth. Quite the contradiction, but the heart – or in my case; the palate, wants what it wants and who am I to question this match made in heaven eh? And if you’re wondering, I know well enough not to mix business with pleasure. That being said, I’ll proceed.
I’m Nigerian 🇳🇬 and I’m currently enrolled in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program, whose recruits are otherwise known as ‘Corpers’. So, this Corper right here says hello!
I’m über introverted (ISFP-T yas!) Early this year I decided to try being a people person, and how’s that coming along?
*Laughs in exasperation*.
It takes a great deal of willpower to show up and be graceful while at it. I’d much rather snuggle under my covers, in my comfy-ass bed, a book in hand or laptop turned on, watching movies. It’s almost always the former though; for I, Koko, am a hopeless bookworm. Which leads us to the next ‘Me’ fun fact.
I’m a bibliophile, but not the boring kind, iykyk. I’m a fiction girlie, fantasy/adventure inclined, not totally opposed to thrillers and mysteries, could do without sci-fi but find myself unable to resist its appeal sometimes. I do not like scary stuff, I avoid horror like the plague it is (and you can’t convince me otherwise). I don’t bother with Poetry. Never have. Never will? I hope it remains that way.
I write. A lot. I love writing, I breathe writing, I live to write; anything fiction, random thoughts, think-pieces, rants, expositions – you name it. In a nutshell, I write everything that goes on in my head and that, my darlings is the reason I’m here to start with. Let’s take a few steps back to my definition word ‘Medium’ at the beginning of this post.
Will I communicate with you? Definitely.
Will I share information with you? Oh yes I will.
Lastly, will I entertain you? I’ll leave that for you to decide.
I intend to have a good time here, so a good time I will have. With you all.
While I’d love to go on and on about the awesomeness that is KoKo, I’m all for remaining an enigma. On this note, I have come to the end of this snappy intro session.
