The twisted lie of a perfect life
It is in the heart of every parent to give their child a perfect life but in all honesty is there a thing called perfect life? Because all I see is parents raising spoiled brats who think everything they want is just a scroll away like the Tik Tok video they watch everyday. We are doing our children a disservice by giving them everything they want even when they don’t need it. The reality is the nature of every human being is forever seeking for something. Getting to a point where you say I have all that I need seems impossible unless you are a person who been trained to be content. There’s always a new iPhone model coming out, same phone from the previous one, they just switch up the camera and charge you more for it. Latest games, latest TV’s, latest shoes. It never ends. Children who always demands the latest something will never learn to endure through anything. A child needs to learn that good things take time. This is the generation that will grow to be adults, see a celebrity or influencer driving an expensive car and they want it. They go and finance a car they can’t even afford just so that they can look popular. Not minding that your favourite celebrity or influencer didn’t even buy that car, they were endorsed by the dealership to drive the car for 6 months and post it on their social media because…
