My running love forever his green
His ray always my gold,
I travel alone on empty miles,
Dust-tracks of dusk-dawn rose.

Broken; he calls my spirit home —

Fields of ancient story one dome
His choir my songbird cries.

Shimmering grass whispers his breath
Hearth aches a tender sweet,
Patient beholds my lovers dream,
