Saturday, 11.26.22, Browsing new ideas but seeking certain items
As I lay on my bed on a sunny Saturday morning, I look around my bedroom and realize I need some organizers. I have a lot of baskets, in which Toby likes scratching at them to destroy them. So, I realized I need to place them elsewhere, as well as I need to further catproof my bedroom so that he will stop messing with my things. He is still young, restless, curious about everything around him, and very playful, even though I bought him scratchboards, which he still plays with.
I decided to go to the IKEA labyrinth store. It is fun to shop inside this store, but it can get confusing because it is like walking through a twisted maze. I noticed some store map signs up now to help customers maneuver through the maze. IKEA is like a Swedish mall. If you get lost in the browsing around, then you will suddenly feel like you have been walking in circles because you suddenly realize you are back at the same spot you started out from. It kind of feels like MK-Ultra mind control shopping. But I had fun, walking slowly, meditating on the merchandise, browsing around, and checking out new items, which…
